Tropical Acne

Because of the common findings of acne occurring in people adapting to tropical climates, it is thought that humidity, causing sweatiness, and over exposure to heat and sun may be a cause of acne.

People suffering from acne will often try to tan in order to hide the visual appearance of the red bumps, but in truth it usually aggravates the condition.

If you have started getting acne since you moved to a tropical environment you may consider staying out of the sun or using an oil free sunscreen. (more on cosmetics and acne)

If your skin is suffering from sun or wind damage this could be aggravating or even causing your acne.

We suggest a natural face mask treatment to revitalize your skin. Vita Moor's beauty face mask is especially soothing as it contains herbal ingredients shown to nourish the skin and cure acne.
